Modular data centers, operational in weeks.

SovereignOne builds modular data centers with advanced cooling — deployed on your site, on the power you already have.

The Problem

Traditional construction is the bottleneck.

Months of permitting. Grid interconnect queues. By the time a conventional build is energised, the workload it was meant to serve has already moved on.

2 – 5 years

Typical conventional data center build, permit to energised.

4 – 6 months

30%

Reduction in power and water consumption for cooling.

Capabilities

Six things that make a site deployable.

01

Advanced Cooling

Liquid and hybrid cooling that cuts power and water consumption against air-cooled baselines.

02

Power Flexibility

Deploys on an existing grid connection. No new substation, no interconnect queue.

03

Modular Construction

Built and tested in a factory, delivered as a unit, commissioned on site.

04

Rapid Deployment

Weeks from site survey to operational, rather than a multi-year construction programme.

05

Edge or Hyperscale

Last-mile, on-premises, or large-scale production and AI workloads at the edge.

06

Trusted Technologies

Compute, cooling and site power from established vendors, integrated and tested as one system before the unit ships.

The Range

Five lengths, one platform.

Every unit is the same height and width. Only the length changes — so the five sizes can be drawn against one another honestly.

What a modular data center actually changes

A conventional data center build runs two to five years from permit to energised. A SovereignOne modular data center runs four to six months from survey to live load. The difference is not schedule compression — the unit is manufactured, integrated and tested before it reaches your site, instead of being assembled by trades in sequence on it.

Capacity is added in known increments. The five lengths — 7, 12, 20, 40 and 52 feet — carry a nominal 125 kW per rack, from a single cabinet up to fourteen. Every length shares the same cooling, power and security design, so the engineering review you complete for one unit holds for the next. Growth becomes a procurement decision rather than a new construction project.

Cooling is where most of the saving sits. The design reduces power and water used for cooling by 30% against a conventional air-cooled hall. That matters most on constrained sites, where available utility capacity rather than floor space sets the limit on what you can deploy.

A modular data center also changes where compute can sit. The same unit serves defense, energy, mining, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, agriculture, sovereign cloud, healthcare, state and local government, smart cities, telecommunications, education and disaster response — anywhere the work has to stay close to the site rather than run in a distant cloud region.

Technology

Utilizing industry leading technology

SovereignOne units are integrated from established platforms rather than bespoke hardware, so the equipment inside a modular data center is the equipment your teams already know how to operate and support.

Common Questions

Questions we get asked.

How long does a modular data center take to deploy?

Four to six months from site survey to live load. A conventional data center build runs two to five years from permit to energised. The difference is sequencing — a conventional build puts trades on an open site one after another, while a modular unit is manufactured, integrated and tested on a factory floor while the site work happens in parallel.

Do I need to construct a facility or upgrade my power supply first?

No. SovereignOne units are designed to deploy on your site using the power you already have. Advanced liquid and hybrid cooling cuts the power and water a conventional hall spends on cooling by around 30%, and that headroom goes back into the racks.

What sizes are available?

Five container lengths — 7′, 12′, 20′, 40′ and 52′ — on one architecture. The smallest carries a single rack and the longest carries fourteen, at 1.75 MW. Units also combine side by side, with the shared walls removed, so a site can grow without a second design.

Is the hardware inside proprietary?

No. Units are integrated from established platforms — CDW, Vertiv, Penguin Solutions, Motivair, Dell, Supermicro, Connected Power and NVIDIA — so the equipment your team operates and supports is equipment they already know.
